Barring Checks on Adult and Child Workforce

This week’s DBS video delves deeper into Barring Checks. There are two types—Adult and Child—but you may only legally request the one relevant to the services you’re CQC‑registered to provide. For most members, this will be the Adult Barring Check. Requesting an irrelevant check is a criminal offence, but rest assured, our team carefully reviews every application and queries anything unclear before submission.
